The antenatal Babyboom guide

The antenatal Babyboom guide is distributed by gynaecologists and ultrasound scan centres.
It accompanies expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy and thus allows you to get your message across at just the right time.

The postnatal Babyboom guide

A particularly useful source of information, the postnatal guide comes in the same form as the antenatal version.
It is distributed to the new mum at birth as part of our maternity pack.
It describes the development of the baby in chronological order from birth up to its first birthday. New mums can find the answers to all the questions that arise during baby’s first year.

The Future Parents Pack

Babyboom has set up a network that allows the antenatal pack to be distributed free of charge by gynaecologists and ultrasound scan centres. This practical and reusable pack is either personally handed over to the mum-to-be by the gynaecologist or his assistant or presented on a display placed in the waiting room.

The birth gift pack

This great Babycase is distributed as a gift to mums who have just given birth in maternity wards in Belgium and Luxembourg thanks to the kind cooperation of nurses, doctors and hospital staff.
In this pack, mums will find useful samples and precious information about a range of products and services adapted to their needs.
The Babyboom Babycase offers you the opportunity to communicate with a very receptive target whose loyalty is easy to gain.

The 4–month pack

This postal parcel is sent free of charge to the homes of the mums registered in our postnatal file 4 months after the birth of their baby. Most of them will start working again after a well-deserved maternity leave. In the meantime, their needs have continued to evolve in terms of the way in which they feed and care for their baby and in many other ways as well. The advantage of this support is that the consumer can test the samples that she receives in a “real life” situation, i.e. at home in her own environment.

Database

During pregnancy and baby’s first few months, parents come into frequent contact with Babyboom. Each time, Babyboom is at hand to provide answers to the questions that arise. Each time, we ask them to leave their contact details with us so that we can send them other gifts and to allow them to benefit from our partners’ offers or to send them Babyboom gifts such as our 4-month pack or VIP tickets to the Exhibition.
Today, almost 90,000 parents leave their details with us every year to take advantage of these offers, which represents +/- 76% of the annual births that we register in Belgium.

Exhibition

The Babyboom Exhibition is the national event in the baby and infant industry and is, without a doubt, the largest baby consumer exhibition in Belgium. The Brussels Exhibition Centre (Heysel) has vast and airy halls that make it possible to create broad alleyways between the stands. It is in these optimal conditions that visitors can collect quality information from exhibitors represented at the Babyboom Exhibition. It is the ideal venue to present your products and new developments to the target group of future and new parents, providing them with an opportunity to see, listen to and test them, and to advise them on their future choices. This event is backed up by a promotional radio campaign as well as advertisements in the general and specialised press.

Babyboom was one of the first to bring a baby site online. Today there is no doubt that www.babyboom.be has become a reference site for future and new parents.
A modern and attractive layout and a domain name that is in keeping with all the other media, mean that future and new parents automatically, even instinctively, visit the Babyboom site.
This means that the site records hits by over 20,000 different visitors every month!

As far as the consumer is concerned, our philosophy is to build on the information already disseminated to the future and new parents: regularly changing reports, special offers, games, a virtual photo album.
Babyboom allows the advertiser to access its site to collect e-mail addresses, to post special articles or even market studies or opinion surveys.
